Mechanical Team Leader

Venn Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Team Leader to support the Mechanical trades operations and maintenance work across our client's sites in Buckinghamshire.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deputising for the Mechanical Manager and overseeing the line management of operational mechanical staff
  • Supervising trade works related to mechanical disciplines, including ventilation, ductwork, extracts, heating, cooling, and plumbing
  • Assisting with the recruitment and selection of staff
  • Managing the completion of report sheets and test certificates as necessary
  • Ensuring risk assessments are completed and adhering to safety protocols in hazardous areas
  • Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and specifications to instruct others and advise
  • Planning maintenance activities, allocating staff and resources, and operating the Trust's labour control scheme
