We are seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Vero HR Ltd. As a key member of our internal recruitment team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programmes, processes, and methods to produce complex components with high precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings and create CNC programmes using CAD/CAM software (GibbsCAM).
  • Develop and optimize CNC programmes, processes, and methods to produce complex components with high precision and efficiency.
  • Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Determine the required materials and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a similar role, ideally within the aerospace sector.
  • Educated in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace) to degree / HNC / HND level or equivalent.
  • Proficient use of CAD/CAM Software to generate 3D models and production of CNC Programmes (GibbsCAM is preferred).
  • Previous use and experience of SOLIDWORKS.
  • Knowledge of Aerospace requirements particularly operating to AS9100 is desirable.
  • Ability to methodically measure, analyze, and present capital opportunities to promote breakthrough unconventional techniques.
  • Knowledge of precision engineering processes including general machining (milling and turning).
  • Highly capable in machine tool and cutting tool specification and application.
  • Understanding of and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Able to work on own initiative within a high-pressure environment.
  • Able to work within tight time scales whilst maintaining and promoting quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
