Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our team at Crescent Specialist Recruitment - CSR NI Ltd. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in the procurement process, working closely with our clients to source and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchasing Materials and Labour: You will be responsible for purchasing materials and labour in line with project budgets, ensuring that all procurement processes are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
- Negotiating with Suppliers: You will negotiate with new and existing suppliers to secure the best possible deals for our clients.
- Appointing Sub-Contractors: You will be responsible for appointing sub-contractors and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place.
- Preparation of Budgets: You will prepare detailed budgets and forecasts to ensure that our clients are aware of all costs associated with a project.
- Production of Reports: You will produce key management reports to keep our clients informed of project progress.
- Monitoring and Reporting Performance: You will monitor and report on the performance of suppliers and sub-contractors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a construction environment.
- Management Experience: Demonstrable management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Procurement Legislation: Strong awareness of procurement legislation and regulations.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best possible deals for our clients.
