Electrical Design Engineer (Modular)

Join our team at Flextronics - The Flex Company as an Electrical Design Engineer (Modular) and contribute to the development of innovative electrical designs for our modular products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for modular products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers and Electrical Design Managers, to drive project success.
  • Develop and maintain a library of standard modular drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with shop floor operations, site operations, and client witness testing as required.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, opportunities, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, driving engineering excellence and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, either in production or design.
  • Knowledge of switchgear is advantageous.
  • Experience with 2D design using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical is beneficial.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail.
