Marketing Officer

Reed Epsom is seeking a skilled Marketing Officer to join our team in Leatherhead. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our organization and raise funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement marketing activities to promote the organization and raise funds.
  • Develop and support a range of on and offline marketing activities to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Take a proactive approach in recommending opportunities across various campaigns and channels to promote the organization and extend its reach.
  • Deliver a range of on and offline marketing initiatives and projects in collaboration with the marketing and fundraising team.
  • Liaise with internal teams to produce effective communications and marketing collateral, ensuring that content is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible.
  • Provide timely and relevant reports to support the evaluation of campaigns and marketing activity.
  • Work with agencies and mailing houses to ensure high-quality service and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Create marketing collateral, working with other departments to ensure consistency in brand and tone across all communications.
Requirements
  • A formal qualification in marketing or a related field, with a good understanding of marketing principles, particularly direct marketing, digital marketing, and fundraising marketing.
  • Experience in raising income through marketing activity, including corporate and consumer fundraising.
  • Previous experience in the third sector, preferably with experience in promoting similar fundraising activities.
  • Skilled in producing creative and project briefs for on and offline marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in digital campaign support across SEO, social media, and paid search advertising.
  • Ability to produce reports to monitor outcomes.
  • Good organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Experience with website CMS, email platforms, Microsoft Office, creative design, and editing software.
