About the Role

VIRTUS Data Centres is a leading provider of data centre services, seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT and OT Service Delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data centres and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with our VP IT & Improvement to develop and execute a comprehensive cyber security strategy, protecting our IT and OT infrastructure from emerging threats.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor adherence to operational best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring our data centres and infrastructure meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce cyber security policies and procedures, ensuring our users are fully engaged in understanding and complying with their responsibility to keep our organisation safe.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in cyber security, systems, infrastructure, network, and cloud.
  • Strong technical expertise across multiple areas, including application deployment, endpoint security, data security, and encryption in IT and OT environments.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex security solutions in line with company policies and standards.
  • Industry certifications in information security or information technology, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent certifications from Azure and AWS.
  • Relevant experience within a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.
What We Offer
  • A hybrid role with regular travel to data centres based around London and occasional travel into central London.
  • An on-call element, requiring participation in an out-of-hours on-call escalation rota.
