Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Hampton Medical Centre. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a GP surgery and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for patients presenting with minor illnesses
- Prescribe evidence-based care, including medication, and develop ongoing plans for health with patients and families
- Control admission and discharge to own caseload, making referrals as necessary
- Work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
- Undertake the collection of pathological specimens and perform investigatory procedures
- Manage and assess risk within areas of responsibility, ensuring adequate measures are in place to protect staff and patients
- Registered General Nurse (currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council)
- Recognised ANP qualification at minimum of degree level or equivalent
- Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development in all aspects of the ANP role
- Experience in management of long-term conditions and minor illnesses
- Proven ability to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of their own clinical practice
Hampton Medical Centre is a busy GP surgery with a list size of 11,500 patients. We have a well-established team of healthcare professionals, including GPs, nurses, and administrative staff.
