We are seeking a caring and flexible individual to support a pupil on journeys to and from school for 25 hours per week on an established Term Time only contract.
About the Role:- Support a pupil on journeys to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Work split shifts across 5 days per week on a Monday to Friday basis in School Term Time only.
- Be flexible to fit in with Integrated Passenger Transport demand.
- Use safety equipment correctly and ensure the passenger boards and alights safely.
- Effective communication skills to consult daily with passengers, carers, and establishment staff.
- No experience is essential, but some experience of assisting passengers in accessible vehicles or working in a similar role would be an advantage.
- Attend a TEAM TEACH (two-day) training course before starting in the post.
- A comprehensive training package, including a Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS), Basic First Aid, and Preventing and Managing Challenging Behaviour.
- A supportive and inclusive work environment.
