Senior Manager of Balance Sheet Oversight - Hybrid Opportunity
As the Senior Manager for Stress Testing, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the stress testing capabilities within our organization during a significant phase of growth.
This position is crucial for the formation of a dedicated Stress Testing team. You will oversee the routine stress testing operations, which include processes that support planning, forecasting, and the Pillar 2B section of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP). Additionally, you will lead the enhancement of skills, capabilities, and infrastructure to ensure our stress testing functions are future-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the stress testing management function, including ownership of the stress testing framework, processes, policies, and controls.
- Ensure the organization possesses the stress testing capabilities of a Category 1 firm, including Annual Concurrent Stress tests and Biennial Exploratory Scenarios.
- Be accountable for implementing appropriate processes, controls, and capabilities to support comprehensive stress testing.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including the Board and various risk committees, to ensure stress tests inform strategic decision-making effectively.
- Oversee all aspects of the end-to-end stress testing processes.
Key Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Balance Sheet Management, encompassing capital, market, and liquidity risk management.
- Expertise in stress testing methodologies within a banking environment.
- Strong familiarity with the Bank of England's stress testing framework, including the Annual Concurrent Stress test and Biennial Exploratory Scenarios.
- Excellent understanding of efficient process management and control implementation.
