About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and continuously improving the clinical governance and quality of care for residents across our Care Homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the performance of each Care Home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Review and analyse clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement practical strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and improve care delivery.
  • Work closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to drive continuous improvement.
  • Organise training, attract key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations as needed.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration. You must also have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care in a Care Home environment. As a confident clinical mentor, you will have experience working with newly qualified nurses and a strong leadership presence.
