About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Band 6 Senior Community Physiotherapist. As a key member of our outpatient physiotherapy team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality physiotherapy service to patients in Derbyshire and Derby.

Our team works collaboratively across Derbyshire to deliver an integrated service that provides accessible and responsive care to meet the needs of patients, GPs, and the wider system. We use a combination of face-to-face and virtual service delivery models to deliver care to patients in the right place, by the right person, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality physiotherapy service to patients in Derbyshire and Derby.
  • Work collaboratively with the outpatient physiotherapy team to deliver an integrated service.
  • Use clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose, and formulate management plans for patients.
  • Present written information in a clear and logical manner.
  • Organise and prioritise workload for self and others.
  • Participate in service development and audit/research.
Person Specification
  • BSc Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • CSP Registration as a Chartered Physiotherapist.
  • Recent experience of working as part of a musculoskeletal team in the NHS.
  • Knowledge of the role of NHS Community Foundation Trust OP Physio services.
  • Documented evidence of CPD, including attendance at recent courses relevant to musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy.
  • Clinical educator/supervisor for junior staff/students/assistants.
  • Evidence of postgraduate theoretical and practical knowledge and experience.
