About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Frozen Meal Delivery Driver to join our team at Wiltshire Farm Foods. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering frozen meals to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Pick orders from our coldstore and load them onto your vehicle
  • Use our app to update customers on delivery status and any issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times, including resolving any issues or concerns
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy
  • Drive safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained, and refuel as needed
  • Communicate with the office team to report any issues or discrepancies
  • Ensure customer confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Assist the office team and picking team as needed, and cover for absent colleagues
  • Report any health and safety concerns, stock quality issues, or mechanical problems with your vehicle

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment
  • Full UK manual driving licence, with at least 3 years' experience
  • Basic computer literacy, including use of phone apps
  • Evidence of stable work history and good attendance
  • Basic secondary education

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-drop delivery role
  • Experience in a care-based role or similar environment
  • Warehouse experience
  • Health and safety awareness

Personal Qualities

  • Friendly, approachable, and reliable
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Good attendance and timekeeping

Important Notes

  • All offers of employment are subject to a driving assessment, driving licence checks, and DBS checks
  • This role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
  • A Standard DBS Disclosure is required for this role
