Group Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Planning Manager to join our team at Keepmoat Homes. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our planning function and play a key role in delivering our business growth plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the planning function across the business, ensuring that all planning activities are aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement a corporate planning framework to support the regions in managing the planning process from start to finish.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional teams on planning matters, including the management of planning applications and appeals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that planning considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Represent the business's interests externally, engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and other external parties on planning matters.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the planning process and planning law.
  • Chartered Planner status or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
