Job Title: Year 1 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join our team at a lovely 2-form entry Primary School in the South Bristol area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 1 students and will be expected to work closely with families from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and be able to assess children's knowledge and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
  • Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
  • Have great knowledge of Phonics and the screening test.
