SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Lewisham.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide tailored support and guidance to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  2. Assist in the planning and delivery of individual or small group interventions to target specific needs, such as literacy, numeracy, or social skills development.
  3. Support students with physical, emotional, or behavioural needs in line with their Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and the school's SEND policy.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting.
  2. A current DBS certificate on the update service is mandatory.
