Job Opportunity:

Medsolve is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in a 3-bed children's home in Coalville, Leicestershire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people, promoting their well-being and helping them achieve their full potential.


About the Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Building strong relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean living environment, adhering to cleaning schedules and encouraging young people to participate in household tasks.
  • Recording and reporting incidents, accidents, and concerns, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Providing high-quality care and support, adhering to Ofsted standards and promoting a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a children's home setting, with a strong understanding of child development and care principles.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including sleep-ins, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • A full UK driving license, with a clean driving record.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A competitive salary of £30,912 - £31,900, including sleep-ins, plus an extensive benefits package and opportunities for career progression.
