Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team at our dementia day clubs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with dementia, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Engage in activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless and high-quality service.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • NVQ2 essential, with a willingness to work towards NVQ level 3.
  • Full specialist dementia training will be provided.
  • A kind and caring nature, a fun personality, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of others.
  • Experience in a care background is essential.
