Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at Grosvenor Casino, Southend-on-Sea. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and drive sales growth.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff scheduling.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and maintained in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing a commercial kitchen, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and drive sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
