The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our CI Function, you will be responsible for delivering process and product improvements using lean manufacturing principles. You will work closely with our Operations team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Data gathering and analysis to support centre lining initiatives
- Preparing daily and weekly reports from POET (site performance) to inform business decisions
- Carrying out task analysis to identify opportunities for improving changeover and standard operations
- Leading Structured Problem Solving activities to drive business improvement
- Coaching RCA's (short term problem solving) to develop problem-solving skills
- Delivering Strategic projects from LTA (long term problem solving) to drive business growth
- Data collection and reporting to support other departments
- Line studies and reports to support other departments
- Centreline creation and maintenance
- Data Analysis and reporting of performance (Bakery KPI's or current issues raised at meetings)
Requirements
No formal qualifications are required, but a good level of numeracy and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are desirable. Lean White, Yellow, or Business Improvement Techniques qualifications are beneficial.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
Location
This position requires travel to Blackpool and Kirkham site.
