The tax division is expanding to support the flourishing financial planning services both domestically and globally.
The team is engaged in sophisticated income and capital tax planning, as well as compliance for high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) and trusts. As a Lead Tax Strategist, you will oversee your own portfolio of clients, engaging in both review and preparation tasks, while also collaborating with senior team members on advisory projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse client base, ensuring compliance and providing strategic tax advice.
- Collaborate closely with tax heads on various income tax, inheritance tax (IHT), and capital gains tax (CGT) projects.
- Address residence and remittance basis inquiries, offering financial planning assistance to internationally mobile clients.
- Support junior team members and contribute to client advisory alongside financial planners.
- Drive the growth and vision of the tax team.
Essential Qualifications
- CTA qualified or equivalent.
- Proven leadership and personnel management capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel.
- Experience with virtual communication tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Exceptional analytical and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years in a tax-related role.
- At least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Familiarity with non-UK domiciled taxation matters.
