About the Role

We're seeking a talented and driven Chef to join our team at Lounge in Sutton. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook dishes to spec, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with our Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations and efficient food preparation.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest food trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our menu offerings.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous kitchen experience, either as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things Allergens, kitchen essentials, and Food Safety.
