This role presents an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to enhance our department and expand our business by engaging with current clients and pursuing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Overseeing the complete BREEAM certification process from initiation to completion;
- Actively seeking opportunities for new sustainability initiatives and acquiring new clients to enhance service offerings;
- Creating reports, guidance documents, and general communications with design teams to ensure quality and standards are met or exceeded;
- Maintaining exceptional levels of engagement and communication with all key stakeholders;
- Conducting sustainability workshops, facilitating project design meetings, and client consultations;
- Managing a diverse and fluctuating workload that may change on short notice;
- Identifying challenges or risks that may impact project delivery, proposing solutions, and coordinating with the team leader on implementation;
- Willingness to travel to various sites and conduct BREEAM inspections during the construction phase;
- Ensuring adherence to our Quality Assurance and Management Systems as well as relevant Health and Safety regulations;
- Providing insights on regulatory and legislative changes affecting the built environment;
- Capability to work independently and under supervision as necessary;
- Assisting with BREEAM-related bid and tender preparation and coordination;
- Flexibility to support BREEAM Assessors in meeting project deadlines;
- Collaborating with the Sustainability Manager to enhance the integration of BREEAM and other sustainability services into our broader service offerings.
