Job Title: Senior Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Dietitian to join our Intestinal Failure Dietetic team. The successful candidate will provide highly specialized dietetic care to patients with Intestinal Failure at a local and regional level.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert dietetic advice to patients, their families, and carers, as well as healthcare staff at local and regional levels.
  • Supervise junior staff members and lead aspects of clinical training for students, dietetic staff, and other healthcare professionals working within Intestinal Failure and complex artificial feeding.
  • Develop and implement guidelines and audit patient care practices as part of the service quality assurance framework.
  • Participate in dietetic working groups and contribute to the development of the service.
Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.
  • BDA membership.
  • Experience in Specialist Dietetic care within Intestinal failure.
  • Understanding of clinical governance, risk assessment, and continuing quality improvement.
  • Able to work within and manage a team, demonstrate time management skills and initiative.
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate staff and patients.
  • Committed to personal and professional development.
  • Confident and caring approach.
