International Rights Coordinator

Are you an exceptionally organised, innovative, and multi-lingual individual? If so, you might be the ideal candidate to join our Rights team, which is seeking to fill an International Rights Coordinator role within the Adult publishing division.

Quarto is dedicated to producing inspiring publications for both adults and children, distributed worldwide. In the capacity of an International Rights Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing foreign rights sales and co-editions.

Compensation

Starting salary of £25,500

Working Hours

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We currently implement a flexible hybrid working model; as part of your responsibilities, you will spend four days in our office and one day working remotely.

Role Overview

You will provide essential support to the sales team, manage trading tools, and assist the team in maximising sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with editorial teams to keep the rights department informed with the latest materials and updates
  • Maintaining and updating inventory and databases
  • Developing marketing resources
  • Assisting in the preparation of internal and client meetings
  • Supporting activities at book fairs

Candidate Profile

You will possess strong attention to detail and be comfortable learning to navigate new tools and databases. You should be skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritising your workload. A fast-paced environment will suit you, and you should be adaptable to change.

Proficiency in foreign languages is advantageous.

You will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Accurately process and record substantial amounts of data and materials
  • Manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Utilise Microsoft Office at an advanced level
  • Deliver exceptional service to both clients and colleagues
