Job Title: Agency Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Agency Support Worker to join our team at Willing Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health conditions.

About the Role

As an Agency Support Worker, you will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and offer emotional and practical support to help clients live fulfilling lives. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure holistic care for individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals, taking into consideration their unique needs and preferences.
  • Assist in daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Support individuals in accessing community resources, social activities, and healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress and any significant developments.
  • Uphold principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of support delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Support Worker - Minimum 6 months.
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Desirable.
  • An empathetic and patient approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Knowledge of person-centred care and a commitment to promoting individuals' independence and well-being.
