Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Location: Luton, United Kingdom

Salary: £90 - £95 per day

We are seeking a committed and skilled Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to provide essential support in an educational setting. This role is full-time, operating Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored for students with special educational needs.
  • Deliver personalized one-on-one support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational and personal requirements are fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to design and implement customized lesson plans.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning for all students.
  • Work alongside the SEN team, educators, and parents to track student progress and apply necessary interventions.
  • Encourage independence and self-confidence among students with SEN.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is a prerequisite.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor when assisting students with varied learning requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Relevant educational qualifications or certifications in SEN support are preferred.
