Position Overview

Atlas Professionals is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and practices within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the creation, execution, and upkeep of the Safety Case and Written Scheme of Examination for assets managed by the company.
  • Oversee Safety and Environmental Critical Element (SECE) verification processes.
  • Coordinate and execute regulatory audit and assurance activities, both onshore and offshore, including internal and external assessments.
  • Manage and uphold Statutory and Regulatory certifications.
  • Comprehend various ISM, ISO, Industry, Flag State, Classification, and Offshore Regulatory requirements to support the demonstration of compliance.
  • Analyze compliance with relevant standards and client specifications, identifying potential discrepancies for departmental management.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and auditing of all management system practices within the organization.
  • Report on compliance status concerning company standards and specifications to department heads.
  • Track open actions resulting from internal and external regulatory audits and ensure timely follow-up on closure progress.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive audit history, action history, and standardization of information to enhance the efficiency of future audits.
  • Ensure system and data security in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
