We are seeking an experienced IT Vendor and Contracts Partner to join our team at South West Water. As a key member of our Digital and IT Directorate, you will play a crucial role in analysing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Vendor and Contract Manager in reviewing and analysing contract data to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather relevant data for effective contract negotiation
- Track and manage contract data to enable renewal planning and ensure compliance
- Maintain an organised contract repository, including accurate and up-to-date records of contracts and associated documentation
- Support regular vendor reviews and meetings, and assist with stakeholder collaboration for onboarding new vendors
- Negotiate vendor contract renewals and support the preparation of reports on contract performance and cost analysis
- A full UK driving licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and influence others
- Ability to exercise initiative, think innovatively, and make well-judged recommendations
- Resilience and adaptability, with a positive and flexible approach to work
