About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team at Gatwick IRC. As a General Practitioner with Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients. This role offers a unique chance to gain insight into mental health and substance misuse, as well as access to a variety of training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional healthcare to a diverse group of patients, developing your knowledge in areas you may not typically experience in a general practice or A&E environment.
  • Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements, making timely decisions regarding future management.
  • Offer a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as actively participating in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
What We Offer
  • A competitive annual salary up to £130,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience, plus payment of MDU/MPS subscription and CPD days.
  • The opportunity to work part-time, with flexible hours, including Saturdays and Sundays, 9am - 1pm.

Person Specification
  • MBChB or MBBS qualification.
  • Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
  • Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
