The Role

We are seeking a skilled Door-to-Door Fundraising Representative to join our team. As a representative of one of our charity partners, you will be the public face of our organization, interacting with the public and seeking their support through regular monthly direct debit donations or lottery sign-ups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit pre-allocated areas by postcode, visiting specific streets and houses to engage with the public and promote our charity's cause.
  • Work independently to achieve targets, using your excellent communication skills to build rapport with the public and secure donations.
  • Utilize an electric tablet to sign up donors and manage your fundraising activities.
  • Wear Charity Link-branded uniform and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Work core hours of 11am-7pm, with a focus on the twilight hours of 5-7pm when most people are at home.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a door-to-door sales person or significant experience in other face-to-face sales roles.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude, with a desire to make a difference in people's lives.
