Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their manufacturing site in the Edinburgh area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, as well as contributing to continuous improvement and reliability projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing site.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and skills to ensure the effective maintenance of equipment and systems.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an industrial environment as a maintenance engineer.
  • Multi Skilled engineering background.
  • Engineering qualification.
  • Mechanical skills: belts, bearings, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps.
  • Electrical skills: experience with electrical systems and equipment.
  • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
