Senior Instrumentation and Telecommunication Engineer

Job Opportunity
Petroplan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Telecommunication Engineer to join our team on an LNG project in the FEED phase. This is a hybrid working opportunity, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
This contract is outside of IR35 and offers an initial 6-month renewable period. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality instrumentation and telecommunication engineering deliverables, including block diagrams, location layouts, cable routing layouts, material takeoff, bill of materials, control room, and rack room layouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate and efficient instrumentation and telecommunication engineering deliverables for the LNG project.
- Ensure compliance with project and industry standards in the design and drafting of instrumentation and telecom systems.
Requirements
- Experience as a senior instrument designer working on on-shore FEED projects.
- Proficiency in Smart 3D (S3D) for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.
- Ability to integrate instrumentation and telecom designs with Electrical and Piping teams.
- Proven ability to oversee a design team and ensure quality of work.
