On behalf of our EPC client, Petroplan is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Telecommunications Engineer to service an LNG project currently in FEED phase. Offered as hybrid working (3 Days in office, 2 days WFH).
This contract opportunity is outside IR35. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing various Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables, such as block diagrams, location layouts, cable routing layouts, material takeoff, bill of materials, control room, and rack room layouts.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing and delivering high-quality Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables for an LNG project in FEED phase.
- Ensuring accurate and efficient design and drafting of instrumentation and telecom systems, complying with project and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a senior instrument designer working on on-shore FEED projects.
- Experience with Smart 3D (S3D) for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.
- Ability to integrate instrumentation and telecom designs with Electrical and Piping teams.
- Proven ability to oversee a design team and ensure quality of work.
