About the Role

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting in the rollout of an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on data catalogue solutions, data standards, and data quality rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of an enterprise data catalogue solution to document data assets across the business.
  • Define data standards and data quality rules in collaboration with data delivery teams and self-service analytics users.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement new and existing data policies around data use and management.
  • Assist in the set-up and running of a Data Governance Steering Group and co-chair associated working groups.
Requirements
  • Experience working in data governance-related roles, including data policy development, data catalogue, or data quality tooling.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders across the business.
