About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Marketing Manager to join our team at Neilson Active Holidays. As a key member of our Marketing Department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our customer lifecycle marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Head of Direct Marketing to implement customer lifecycle management strategies, including email and SMS production, customer communications automation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the delivery of our annual marketing strategy, encompassing brand and sales campaigns, and identify opportunities to innovate growth strategies.
  • Develop and maintain standards, processes, and tools to drive greater efficiencies in our cross-functional team.
  • Coordinate projects, create well-prepared briefs for campaigns, and oversee social media accounts, posting regular content and analyzing metrics.
  • Gather mailing analytics and insights to inform direct marketing strategies and provide an overview of general engagement across platforms.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Self-starter with quick learning capabilities, excellent verbal communication skills, and a good understanding of marketing in the premium travel sector.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, proficiency in time and project management, prioritisation, and multitasking, with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
  • Results-driven and open-minded, with a keen eye for detail and a love of being part of a great team.
  • Supporting our 'test and learn' approach to optimise communication effectiveness and liaising with cross-functional teams on promotional plans.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Solid experience using CRM platforms, HTML editing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Mac user with DTP skills, CMS user, and understanding of content performance metrics and analytics tools.

Experience & Track Record:

  • Demonstrable experience in customer lifecycle marketing, including customer retention strategies, project management, and CRM.
  • Line management experience and strong experience in the travel industry is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level (or equivalent experience).
