Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CAD Engineer to lead our Body Structures team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions to meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of 3D and 2D models for closure and mechanism engineering
  • Support the development of design rules and guidelines
  • Deliver engineering project work for both parent company and 3rd party customers
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to implement recommendations and create a right-first-time release
  • Support the standardization of kinematic models in Catia
  • Develop and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Degree qualified or similar qualification as a minimum
  • CAD operation skills required, with experience in Catia v5/v6
  • Experience of using TCUA and PLM
  • Engineering experience in delivery of designated module systems in the automotive sector or similar industries
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with good organizational and communication skills
  • English is essential, with a second language advantageous
