About the Role:

  • We are looking for a proven project engineering capability demonstrated by recent delivery on time and budget.
  • The ideal candidate will have +8 years of experience in this field and ability to generate CAD data Catia v5/6.
  • Mould flow analysis - plastics injection moulding and stamping manufacturing processes are essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create design proposals and concepts, and take decisions regarding engineering changes.
  • Ensure progress in packaging, including calling meetings when needed.
  • Verify design solutions together with the customer manufacturing teams.
  • Release of 2D drawings and deliver components to quality and cost targets.

Essential Skills:

  • CAD Literacy: ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, DFMEA problem resolution etc 8D.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
