About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Project Manager to join our team at Blue Square. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects, streamlining processes, and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our retail initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Responsible for the entire lifecycle of projects, from briefing and execution to delivery and evaluation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure project stakeholders are aligned with project scope and budget guidelines, and that teams are focused on delivering agreed-upon outcomes.
  • Process Compliance: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to support new or changing processes across Head Office functions.
  • Relationship Building: Build effective relationships across departments to facilitate effective delivery and achieve agreed objectives.
  • Budget Management & Analysis: Develop and forecast project timelines and budgets for all business proposals, and analyze completed and historic projects to identify improvement areas for future projects.
Requirements
  • Excellent project management skills with experience of delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Flexibility, high organization, action orientation, resilience, and forward thinking.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and aptitude for proactive problem-solving.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects with different objectives and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Strong attention to detail and persistence to ensure diverse project elements are complete and satisfactory.
