Position: German-speaking Technical Account Manager
Location: Remote UK
Compensation: £60,000 to £70,000 plus Bonus and car allowance
About the Company:
A pioneering manufacturer recognized for supplying high-quality components essential for critical engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales initiatives and promote company offerings to existing clients (70%) primarily in the German and Eastern European markets.
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Manage major accounts and facilitate organic growth within the DACH region and Eastern Europe.
- Formulate action plans to secure new purchase orders and enhance client relationships.
- Analyze market trends and propose effective solutions for a variety of inquiries.
- Oversee the progress of sales activities related to significant contracts.
- Provide weekly reports to track performance against targets and outline action plans.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product range and its capabilities.
- Monitor competitor activities and customer needs within designated territories.
- Communicate significant developments and opportunities to the sales director proactively.
- Resolve conflicts effectively with the support of management.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with clients focusing on sales performance, delivery metrics, quality, and costs.
Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in German at a business level (both written and spoken).
- Experienced sales professional with a proven track record in business development.
- Background in manufacturing or engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Capable of managing large sales figures and complex orders.
- Skilled in drafting reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
- Adept at presenting information and addressing inquiries from management and clients.
- Strong analytical skills to identify problems, gather data, and draw conclusions.
- Willingness to travel within the EU/UK as required.
Compensation: £60,000 to £70,000 plus Bonus and car allowance.
