About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead our Mechanical team in the delivery of a brand new £200m M&E project spanning over 4 years. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing mechanical installations design phase through to completion. Your responsibilities will include project planning, resource allocation, cost management, and ensuring timely delivery. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including profit margins, preliminary costs, and procurement expenses.
• Create detailed project schedules and programs to enable accurate progress monitoring and reporting.
• Secure and allocate the necessary resources to effectively and efficiently deliver the project or scheme.
• Ensure successful project completion within specified constraints while maintaining a professional approach.
• Implement and oversee the creation of the Project Quality Plan and Trade Quality Plans.
• Ensure a successful and seamless handover of the project, providing support to the customer or end user throughout the process.
