Job Summary

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our paediatric gastroenterology services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist care to patients with gastrointestinal and nutritional disorders
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in paediatric medicine, surgery, and neonatology to deliver comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of paediatric gastroenterology

Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • MRCPCH or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in paediatric gastroenterology, preferably in a tertiary centre
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
