A leading law firm is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their Residential Property team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting on a wide range of Residential Conveyancing transactions, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and progress your career.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Conveyancing Assistant looking to advance their career within a team of specialists. You will have the chance to work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Document Preparation: Drafting documents, conducting research, and providing client advice, while liaising with solicitors, conveyancers, and other third parties.
  • Debt and Disbursement Recovery: Managing debt and disbursement recovery, general file management, including filing, file opening, and archiving, ensuring zero balances on files, and correspondence.
  • Client Communication: Taking and making telephone calls, and assisting in managing work flows for the allocated fee earner.
  • Land Registry and HMRC Compliance: Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry via the Land Registry portal, and preparing and submitting SDLT forms to HM Revenue & Customs electronically, with a working knowledge of common SDLT reliefs.
