About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at the Raspberry Pi Foundation. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in delivering digital experiences that meet the needs of our diverse user groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop creative visual and UI solutions that meet business objectives and user needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products provide meaningful and engaging experiences for users
  • Put users at the centre of the design process, working with UX researchers to test and iterate designs based on user feedback and insights
  • Communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders through presentations, prototypes, and design thinking
  • Contribute to the development of our Design System and help improve our ways of working
  • Advocate for accessibility and ensure our products are suitable and safe for young people and volunteers
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience as a professional digital Product Designer or UI Designer
  • Experience creating detailed, high-fidelity UI designs that meet business aims and user needs
  • Understanding of UX research methodologies and how to test designs with users
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to teams across the organisation
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders and an interest in education, particularly related to computer science, physical computing, and digital making for young people
