Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Motor Engineer to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for electrical motor design and optimization, as well as a commitment to excellence in product development. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of advanced electrical motors, from concept to production, within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize electrical motors, ensuring performance and efficiency.
- Perform electromagnetic and thermal analysis using FEA tools such as Ansys Maxwell and MotorCAD.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to integrate motor designs with a Design for Manufacturing (DFM) approach.
- Drive innovation by applying theoretical knowledge to practical motor design challenges.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and technical requirements.
- An Engineering degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 Years of experience in electrical motor design, from concept to manufacturing.
- Proficiency in commercial motor design software, such as Ansys Maxwell and MotorCAD.
- Strong understanding of the theory and principles behind motor design.
- Familiarity with motor drive modeling and control (desirable but not required).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical acumen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive attitude with a passion for technological advancements in electric vehicle powertrains.
- Motorcycle Licence and Experience
