Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Day Service Manager and ensure the smooth running of the service, promoting the independence and wellbeing of our customers.
  • Work closely with the Day Service Manager to assess customer care needs and develop person-centred plans of care and support.
  • Ensure the service operates in line with regulatory authorities, such as CQC, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Environmental Health.
  • Support customers to have as much choice and control in their lives as possible.

What We're Looking For

  • A qualified NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Significant experience and knowledge of care needs for vulnerable older people, including physical disability, frailty, and dementia.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of line managing a team of support staff.
