As a Senior Contracts Manager at TechWaves Recruitment, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of contract professionals, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in government contracting, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with resilience and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Development: Lead a high-potential team, providing guidance and support to help them grow into effective leaders.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Make critical legal, contractual, and leadership decisions, directly involved in planning and strategy.
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations with a focus on continuous improvement, prioritizing tasks across your caseload, team, and site leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders, presenting cases to leadership and influencing difficult situations.
Requirements:
- Proven Leadership Experience: Senior or site leadership roles, commanding respect and earning buy-in from day one.
- Government Contracting Expertise: Experience with U.S. government contracts, MOD, and U.S. Primes, ready to step into the role of an SME in this area.
- Technical Proficiency: Present data clearly, making informed decisions based on it.
- Resilient & Organised: Highly organised, juggling multiple priorities with ease.
The Process:
- Interview Stages: Initial Teams interview followed by an onsite interview with the site GM in Wolverhampton.
- Flexible Working: Hybrid role, requiring onsite presence 3 days a week, with flexible start and end times.
