As a Backend Developer Lead, you'll play a crucial role in building systems that automate the evaluation of carbon projects. You'll work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies that drive our vision forward.

We're looking for a talented engineer who shares our passion for climate action and is eager to make a meaningful impact. If you're a self-starter with a background in PHP, Python, or Typescript, and a passion for building scalable and efficient backend systems, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive the strategy for improving our current systems and executing our vision for the future
  2. Lead other engineers to help them understand issues and pain points for customers and engineers and how to best address them going forward
  3. Mentor more junior team members and implement best practices
  4. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and how best to build solutions accordingly
  5. Build underlying infrastructure to ensure all data created goes into our data platform so that it can be shown to customers within our app
