About the Role

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Product Specification Writer to join our client's thriving food manufacturing business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for writing specifications for food products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write product specifications for food products, taking into account manufacturing processes and quality control measures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product specifications
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, such as HACCP and Quality Management Systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications and technical reports
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams on product specifications and manufacturing processes
Requirements
  • Proven experience in writing product specifications for food products, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving license
