Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors on live construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the CDM 2015.
  2. Project Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including CPP, emergency plans, and fire risk assessments.
  3. Contractor Management: Coordinate the work activities of contractors through permit-to-work systems and on-site meetings.
  4. HSE Support: Manage and monitor the health and safety support team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Proven experience in a health and safety management role on a live construction site.
  2. Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate and a valid driving license.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Flexibility: Willingness to work away from home, including UK and Europe, and adapt to varying shift patterns and 12-hour shifts.

What We Offer:

  1. Competitive Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  2. Benefits: Car allowance, on-site bonus, and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
