Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist in delivering organized activities and play a key role in planning both individual and group therapeutic sessions. Building meaningful relationships with service users will be essential to encourage their engagement in activities and foster their recovery journey.
As a Rehabilitation Support Specialist, your contributions will include assessing, monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting structured activities to track progress and ensure their effectiveness.
Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will receive regional support and have access to various training and online courses aimed at enhancing your professional development and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of personalized care plans. Support service users in achieving their objectives and accessing suitable services. Maintain comprehensive records, documenting relevant information in service user healthcare files. A valid UK Driving License is required.Qualifications:
GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2 qualification. Experience in a similar setting, particularly in Mental Health. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Work Environment:
You will be part of a rehabilitation service dedicated to individuals requiring medium-term support, focusing on active rehabilitation to aid their transition into community living. Service users may have varying degrees of mental health conditions.
